Fruandes is member since the year 2006 of the International Fair Trade Association, IFAT (www.ifat.org).
Our commitment with the FAIR TRADE reflects itself in our nature and corporate politics, in the labor conditions of ours employed, in our productive processes and in our trade relations. FAIR TRADE means for us:
- Direct Impact on small producers (Growers)
- Integrated Chain (Growers, processor/exporter & Clients)
- Improvement of the quality of life (Employees) – “Mother bread-winners”: Housing, 20% above minimum salary standard & Education.

IFAT & FRUANDES
(15/07/2008) Frutos de los Andes has been selected by IFAT as a Pilot to establish the global criteria for the certification in Fair Trade (www.ifat.org).
